  We went in Sunday morning at 11. Got seated in less than 5 minutes!!! We thought we would be waiting awhile but that wasnt the case at all. The staff was very friendly and prompt. I seriously could not believe the size of portions you get!!! So. Much. Food. And all fresh! We will definately be back even though it's across town!

  I don't care for florescent lighting. They always want to seat you at the smallest table possible. The food is pretty good though. Not any bargain though.

  I was extremely disappointed in my last visit to American Table. You go into an establishment like this expecting the Mom and Pop diner feel and in fact it is the exact opposite. The host was rude as soon as we walked in the door. She shoved menus into my hand and told me "up the stairs". When I looked at her in disbelief she again in a louder tone stated "up the stairs". So I take the menus and seat myself. The server comes over. Poors me coffee. Says nothing else. Looks at my husband and says "what do you want to drink" he says "coffee" she then rolls her eyes, I'm guessing because he didn't have his mug turned over. Asks us "what do you want to eat" we order a skillet and she snatches our menus and is asking what kind of bread I want as shes walking away. Just felt super uncomfortable. Definitely won't be back to be treated like that. Completely disrespectful and ridiculous.
